My goal this week was to make and finalize one if not more posters for my characters. I successfully finished Cindy’s poster. My problems this week were that I just had an art block and a difficult time coming up with ways to make things work. I fixed it by looking at references and ideas that other people have come up with. Next week I plan to do the same with Annie and Boxer.

This week I used a Wacom Tablet to make more posters for my characters and I did make the executive decision to make that my capstone project. I did not have any issues other than that the tablets are worse than the Cintiqs but I am going to be investing in a drawing screen of my own soon.

This week I wanted to use a tablet or cintiq to work on digital versions of my characters for project #2. I successfully created Joel the super censored Cowboy and Nate Twenee who is a Dungeons and Dragons guy. I created their outfits and created concept art for each. I liked Joel’s so much that I now have him hanging on my wall. My only issue is that Lyndsay Wilson came over and tried to break the screen with a sledgehammer while Dub was gone and he was not here to see it happen so. Next week I will do the same thing with more characters probably.

This week I decided to work on making my characters for a comic more, real. I started using a cintiq and was very successful as I’ve so far completed the main sketches, the wireframe of their outfits, and even added some coloring to them along with a height chart which is a bit off. I can’t say I had problems working on them per se, but i do believe that my time was constrained as I only really had 3 full days to work on them and one of those included an exam. Next week I may start trying to use a tablet again to work further into making digital versions of these characters.

This week I wanted to work on the comic project with my classmates, pass my adobe test, do the caricature workshop with Dub, and practice drawing and stuff.

I completed my adobe test and did the workshop, all while practicing to get a better hand.

I did not have any problems.

My plans for next week are to finalize my characters, and start to practice for my second adobe test.

Projects and pass my adobe test

My goal was to finish up my big body conversion and potentially pass my adobe test. As of later this morning I’ve finished my big body website. I wasn’t at school on monday so that set me back a day. I worked harder. To have a nice break.
